BeeSMART is a weight scale connected to the mobile phone network. It gathers beehive weight, outside temperature, time stamp, beehive ID and battery voltage.
Data is automatically sent by SMS (text message) twice a day and enables you to know the exact situation of the apiary.

BeeSMART monitors four key indicators:

• Weight increase: honey gathered by the bees
• Bee counter: weight variations brought by bees leaving and returning to the hive
• Weather: rain or sunshine

Two working modes

Keep tract of weight evolution

BeeSMART software automatically records 2 weights each day at fixed times and stores values for statistics purposes.

Programmable tresholds with SMS alert

User can program 2 thresholds on the weight to be used as an alarm. When the beehive’s weight reaches a threshold, BeeSMART sends an alert by SMS.

Monitors up to four hives

It is possible to monitor four scales using single controler and recieve single SMS report

Battery autonomy

Battery autonomy is up to one month but using a solar panel gives you unlimited autonomy. With each SMS battery voltage is reported. The system has low power consumption.

Theft-deterrent system

BeeSMART uses a PIN code that is programmed and provided to the customer only. Should anyone steal the product, it is impossible to delete owner's GSM number. There is possiblity to kill the code by sending SMS to the unit and the product cannot start again.

No radio emision or frequency polution, only short SMS twice a day
